Here is a link to new research that suggest that financial literacy education — as it is today — is not working. This is not news. We know that — don’t we? Year after year, the results of the Jump$tart survey of high school kids confirms that we are not getting through. Why? We are starting too late. We focus all our time and energy on kids and adults after behavior has been set in stone.

What we need to do is start much younger … when kids are in first grade … and still listening to us … when we are molding behavior.
