I want to recommend a book for teens about investing. It’s called “The Little Book That Beats The Market” by Joel Greenblatt. It’s an excellent perspective on value investing, presented in a simple, easy to understand way that is perfectly appropriate for young teens. In fact, the author wrote the book with his young son in mind. See the reviews at Amazon.com. This would make a nice graduation gift for those kids interested in investing who are graduating from college, high school or even 8th grade. Adults will enjoy this book too, especially if you don’t have much experience with investing.
