FourRules4KidsGifts ImageHere’s Tip #5 of ten to make this a more relaxing and memorable gift-giving season.  (I cannot take credit for this one – this came from my friend Shelly Holmstrom.)

Follow the four gift rule for kids at the holidays.

1. Give them one thing they want.
2. Give them one thing they need.
3. Give them one thing they wear.
4. Give them one thing they read.

I never really had any rhyme or reason to buying presents. It is usually what they want. But after reading your 4 tips above, those are my new guidelines. Plus I think they will stop me for over compensating in just what they want area.
