Here’s my third tip on how to make this a more relaxed gift-giving season for you and your family.

Tip #3: Prioritize Your List – Using your gift-giving list, put the dollar amount you are dedicating to this gift-giving exercise at the top of your list, and then put an amount that you want to target to spend from that budgeted amount next to each gift.  Do not go beyond the total number you have written at the top.  If you run out of money – move things around.  Shave numbers off from one to give to another. Tip #2: Set a Budget – Now that you have a written list of those you want to give a gift to this holiday season, on the same piece of paper write down the amount of money you have to spend. Now you can see just how far your money will go this season. Stretch those dollars by getting creative. Hand-made gifts require time and talent, not so much money.  Here are 2 of my fav homemade gifts from my kids! Letters for when I need them most and a deck of cards with 52 reasons why I am loved. Priceless indeed!
