The countdown continues and we are now only left with 9 Mondays before Christmas.  Time is passing, and we need to start saving money now so that January credit card bills don’t make it a pretty miserable month.

Boomers are rapidly becoming Grandboomers; in the U.S., they are 70 million strong. Might this legion of potential mentors hold the key to financial literacy for the next generation?

Grandparents have joked for years that if they knew grandkids were going to be so much fun they would have had them first. In her recent keynote before college graduates at the University of Baltimore, Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen noted, “Economists are not certain about many things. But we are quite certain that a college diploma or an advanced degree is a key to economic success.”

This comment made me think about my Dad who never went to college.
