This week the 2011 Money Smart Week launched on Monday at the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank.  The highlight for me, as it is every year, was the announcement of the new Money Smart Kid – Charles Tiseo.  He presented a very creative essay on the “Adventures of Benjamin Budget”.  Click here to read his essay

To help Charles as he begins his new “appointment” of financial literacy ambassador for Chicago, the 2010 Money Smart Kid, Kamal Bilal, offered Charles some words of encouragement.  Kamal was (and still is) a great ambassador for financial literacy and is a great example of what it means to be a Money Smart Kid!
