You’ve made it through Black Friday.  Check!  But here it is…Cyber Monday, with all its special deals – but only if you buy NOW.  Temptation abounds, making controlling spending this holiday even more challenging.  Here’s my next tip of 10 to help you make it through without breaking the bank, regardless of the holiday you observe.

Holiday Planning Tip of the Week: Monday #7 – November 27 – December 3. . . Take inventory – Don’t Add!

Review your progress. Take inventory. Do not add to your list. You have permission to shop. But also take note that since all marketers know that this is the time of the year that people really do BUY, do not be distracted. Follow your list and buy what people want – not what is on sale. Don’t top up your gift—giving with things that are on sale either. They are a waste of your hard-earned money. And, most people will not appreciate these kinds of gifts.
